it allows one pc to connect to another pc / notebook directly and you basically just drag and drop (or send) files from one machine to the other :)

Connect both comp's to a hub, send yourself the files over MSN. I've done this with 700mb files, and it takes about 6-7 mins for 700mb's

good question let me get with my tech guy and ill get back toy ou in a few :)

i *think* its as simple as just dialing into your latop via the phone line though or via the network connection

Global Dialers 06-07-2004 02:44 PM

what type of net connection you got?

Elli 06-07-2004 02:47 PM

Just need to setup a "direct network connection" and make sure both computers are ont he same network name (MSHOME, perhaps?)

Super easy. One will patch straight into the other. Don't forget to share the directories you want to see from the second computer.

If I wasn't going to do that, I would just burn a CD.
