who get shit loads of emails??? How the hell do you keep up with it all on top of all your other work? I'm always about a week behind on answering them due to the volume and time involved... and I feel bad as I don't like to keep people waiting.... I'm just curious how other girls are coping and would love to hear if you're in the same boat....

Some of the other girls have their webmasters answer their emails...

I know it sounds weird but I guess its better than not answering the email at all.

Yep back when i could actually be bothered having a site, i got a company to run it for me and they had people to answer all the emails.

oh that would suck... I'd feel even worse than just letting them wait a week :) I know some of the girls do that... and I just think its wrong when the guy writing thinks he's writing to the web girl.... what do you guys think on that topic?

I'd really just like hear people's thoughts on things....

i do emails 3 - 4 times a day for the site.. takes time but well worth it in retention and member appreciation.. its just if u go away for a weekend or longer is when it can get hectic :)

I know what you mean :) I basically live at my computer! I'm doing email all the time... but I know its worth doing as it keeps the members happy and coming back... I just didn't know if most girls keep on top of it, or if they're a bit behind like me too :) thanks for the info!

I personally answer all my emails, but I never have too many emails as to where I would get behind. There are certain members who email alot, but they're easy to handle. I don't think I'd feel right having someone else answer them. Especially when it comes to having my weekly shows, some of my members like to chat about our emails. How would you know what to say to them when someone else has been talking to them? I'm with ya on this one, Faith :)

Obviously you haven't actually interacted with members of a real personality site. They join and stay to make a connection with a real person . . . AND to wank.

I put all of my email in a big folder named "RESPOND" and never write back. Hehehe. At least they know it's me who is not replying!

Seriously though -- I think it depends on the kind of site. I couldn't get away with someone else responding to my email as I have live cams and chat in my members areas and it would be pretty obvious if I hadn't read their emails or written back to them myself. Often the first thing I hear in chat is "did you get my email?"

If you're running fakey "jokes on the wankers hahaha" cookie cutter sites I guess it doesn't matter who writes back to them. :glugglug

Obviously you don't know much about the business or have limited yourself to a very narrow incomplete profile of our customers.

that makes me feel better :) I'm glad to know that the real amateur girl sites are in the same boat as me and answer their own emails :) I think that is worth so much in succeeding in this business when members like to know that its really you behind the keyboard... I'll just keep plugging away and tryiing to get caught up LOL Thanks girls!
