Best Sushi restaurants in San Diego?

I am looking for one of the best that is around the Hyatt.

Suggestions?

bar none.. the small section of the Fish Market that is their sushi bar is excellent.

i go there everytime i visit SD... next weeks visit i will definitely be there.

I'll send this thread to Moose. He's always raving about some sushi place in Old Town.

I would think san diego would have great tuna since they can get fresh daily from boats.

In the Gas Lamp District there are over 6 - 10 Sushi places large and Small and in Hillcrest... yes the gay area ... there are a couple more as well .... but if you wanna party and have a meal and see some of the hottest sexiest ladies in San Diego ... you need to go to On Broadway the night club .. Zen Sushi Bar ...

The Best By far ....

E Street Alley. Great sushi and dancing (if you like that sort of thing). The betties are in abundance there on the weekends.

Sushi on the Rock in La Jolla is a 10 min cab ride and my favorite sushi place in San Diego. Hit me up on icq if you need more info Aaron.

Really good susi is at Japengos in La Jolla. Very nice atmosphere as well.

Japengos in La Jolla is really nice, but pricey. If you've got the bucks.. I'd say go there.

Places that i'd recommend that are near the hotel where cybernet will be are.

Sushi Ota
Surfside Sushi
Saska's Sushi


Those are my favorite ones in that area. I haven't been to any places in downtown SD. I'm sure there are some really good ones downtown seeing that most of the other restaurants I've been to down there have all been great.
