I'm down about 5 sales a day, not that big a deal.

I think whether you experience a "summer slowdown" depends on what type of site you have.
I have never experienced a big slowdown in the summer months on my site.

Ok but there is some slowdown, it's proven that people don't spend as much time in front of the Computer/TV in summer months...

Oh I definitely agree....but on my site is hasn't been a big deal...a couple here and there.
I was just trying to say that different sites have larger losses than others.

I always notice a slowdown after april.
I didn't use to notice it at all but the more sales you make per day the easier it is to see. The summer doesn't mean ppl completely start buying porn but your ratios migt get worsened by 1:10 or so depending on your traffic but no big deal. I also believe that some programs take advantage of the hype and put some shaving into effect.

Oh and if there is no slump at all then it's just nice of the sponsors to offer all the extra large payout days. All you ppl who love being cocky saying there is no fucking slump cuz you are doing better than ever, welcome to the biz, stick around a few years and you'll see there is an effect, how much depends on your site. :2 cents:

Well, my sales have been slow in June.
Haven´t noticed summer slowdown ever before. Don´t know if it´s that or if I just suck.

This year I have done enough volume and definitely notice a difference. A good 10-20% difference on a few thousand joins.

Never really noriced it before this year though.

Where did this summer slowdown originated?

Talk to you sales rep at your biller and ask them about it. They will say there is a noticable drop during the summer months. I seem to find may is the worst. Looking at my stats last august was better than the majority of winter months. This june is off the hook though.
Who really knows though. The net is always in a state of flux.
