damn man hate that for you, summertime is a bitch to compete with, everybody is outside having fun instead of inside at the computer, pray for rainny days

summer slow down is an urban legend .

i never experienced a slow down in summer yet alone in spring ( its still spring) .

if your sales are low time to change sponsors , last summer i used to make 150$ a day with bangbros with a single gallery posted per day .

I notice a bit of slowdown in the summer sometimes.. but that could be because i work less then.

urban legend my ass. more people outside, children home much of the time, less time in front of the computer, less traffic, holidays..............all of this leads to a slowdown for most adult webmasters. if you are the exception consider yourself lucky, but don't call it an urban legend.

i am not an exception, people need porn , they are addicted to it and wether its sunny or raining they will come at night to get their daily dose of ass.

why do a site sell 10 memberships a day in july and only 3 a day in december ? go figure , but it has nothing to do with the sunshine , there is just no exact science about the surfers purchasing habits

summer slowdown might account for less traffic but i don't think you can blame shitty ratios on it.

Mmm.. Thought so.

I use "summer slowdown" to tweak marketing techniques, so I generally don't see that much of a slump during the summer months and when fall hits, I see a surge and definite growth but only because I've improved upon what I'm doing. Work smarter.

thats a good pôint, but personally i never changed anything in summer, except that i work less, still the sales are here and sometime twice as much than in winter

Theres no such thing as a "summer slowdown".
The market CHANGES in the summer months, but I wouldnt say its any slower. Marketing techniques have to change along with other things. But the money is still there for those who can adapt to the changing seasons.
