Good point. Probably not very.. old timers have their preferences for hosting, programs, etc already. They have contacts so if they are looking for something new they can hit people up on ICQ.

The day people get paid to post.....is the day the boards went to shit......getting paid to post is ridiculous...you have to know it will bring out all the idiots and sigwhores who are too fucking lazy to do real work.....

They are very valuable.
Old timers signup to promote new programs and new sites - and they can drive 100x more traffic than all the noobs put together.
Plus consider the information value. What is better, old timers talking about bussiness or noobs posting "would you hit it" threads ?

Each time I get an affiliate to AVS nation, Viking Bucks or whatever I run, I pray they are fairly oldtimers. The new guys don't know anything about promotion, teasing or building traffic.

It seems like the noobs only care about getting as many hosted galleries listed as possible and make money that way. Things don't work that way. You don't make shitloads of money with 500 hosted galleries. You make money when you tease the surfer and most new guys don't do that.

You can put it this way...
When a noob join one of my sites he will grab EVERY single gallery and list it in one day. They don't even bother wringting a good description for the gallery.

When an oldtimer join he will contact me and tell me what he needs to make money. Fair enough, I make that for them.

From our perspective "old timers talking about business" is always better

But from Lesman's perspective quantity is way better than quality

And the last few months have proved that even with that philosophy GFY isnt going to lose out.

Of course more posts mean more money...indirectly.
