I found it alot easier to spend as much time on the comp. when i am single during the winter, then as summer approaches, to distance myself from my love for computers, and try to attach myself to my love for sex.... so far it's worked for a few years.... then again, being single for long winters sucks...... UGH!

Ha ha, I'm always on my computer and my wifey says that I ignore her while I'm on here, while I always try to give her full attention.

She knows that I'm a businessman on here and have to get work done, so she understands. At night she always wants to watch her soaps on the Soap Net channel or Court Tv, so I can sit on here about 5 feet away and we both can enjoy ourselves, he he.

It's all about quality time[Tm] you know. When I work on the computer, it's clear to everyone (friends, familly members, neighbors, dog, cat, mailman) not to disturb me because they will be ignored.

On the other hand, when I do spend time with them, I don't bring the TV, Computer e-mail, spam, job, university with me. I give them all my complete and total attention and devotion.

Oh, and to be fair, when my significant other reads her book, talks with her friends, or which ever activity she is doing I don't jump in disturb her. It works both ways.

I found the perfect solution. I live with a man who is more of a computer junkie than I am. The only drawback is, that without one of us to bug the other to get off the pc, not a whole lot gets done around my house. Thank God for Merry Maids. It's not as bad as it used to be though, when we first moved in together our computer desks were back to back, we were 5 feet away from each other and we would icq each other. I finally told him that some folks might say we have a problem.
