Is Caps Lock Dead?
 

Recently I have noticed that I haven't used caps lock other for any purpose other than hitting it by accident. Once upon a time, COBOL was written in all caps, and other languages like BASIC and Fortran were not case sensitive. Capitals were the way to go for writing code. Does the caps lock key serve any purpose any more, and if not, should it be removed, moved, or replaced ?

as many times as I see idiots posting in all caps (not here but other places) I would say it serves a purpose only to those that like to annoy others by using the fucking thing. :1orglaugh

i barly use the caplocks, honestly, if i was guna type anything in all caps i would just hold shift while i type... kinda weird :(

I mostly use it by accident when I'm typing too fast. But it does come in handy once in a while
