I need to boost my post count ... I can post myself ... just fucking arround with smokeys program for like 30 mins ... why are you mad ? You couldnt get it working like all thoses trools posting in smokeys thread ?

Turned it off I just let it on while I was going to the corner store buy some crap ... chill out lol

Lol this is not fixable really ... Making a new program like that takes what ... 30 mins - 1h ? My friend used to fuck arround on my board with a prog he made that would post after a certain post (ex to win 4 million post etc ...) .

Its easy to emulate a browser ... somebody could just do something that type and press send and emulate the mouse like d2jsp did with diablo 2. ..

Anyways the point is : post bots are toally useless so whatever :0

GFY needs an image verification system that required users to type a word in before posting. It's the only way to get it done right.

ROFL thats just too fucking much ... and if they always use the same graphics its gonna be easy for the bot to do it . they just associate it to the letter or whatever ...

This would also cut out a lot of sig whores who just post smiley faces or one to two word replies. Would clean up a lot of the BS around this board to say the least.

To start, I'd love to see this implemented on searches. Its been what, over 4 weeks since you first suggested it and search has been down forever it seems now...

You don't understand how the software works. It generates the image on the fly and pulls the word out of a huge database or randomly generates an alpha-numberic image.

They stop bots cold in their tracks. That's why Spam Arrest, Overture, etc. use them.

Yea I totally understand ... but Im saying if they make this home made chances is htat they will use 26 letters ... and get fucked lol

i have not seen one that can't be beaten. Its all about repetition. Even the smart big companies fail to figure this out sometimes.

Yahoo and msn,ouch , they literally make me laugh sometimes with security.

They make things so complicated they forget what they intended to secure and end up making something less secure than when it began..

i remeber when yahoo added picture authentication andsecure password resets , but failed to realise that when you added it all together you could reset and crack a username faster with the yahoo generated alphanumeric password generator than you could by running a dictionary file against a name, brute force style, and thats the whole reson they added the security to begin with
