My uncle was just telling me on the phone how the race was rigged...I don't think so, but that ending really sucked...even the jockey said he thought he had won.

dude I could tell you stories from my uncle who had some solid connections in racing and most people wouldn't begin to believe how bad the chicago mob has horse racing and vegas sewn up. Always have always will. The "Outfit" as they are known in chicago are not loudmouth kneebreakers like all the other familys in NewYork looking for the spotlight, they are quiet as can be but will fuck up your bets in a split fucking second. :glugglug

well, you know, you never really want to goto the whip if you don't have to, but in this case, hindsight being 20/20, yeah, he should have gone to the whip sooner/harder
