sweet man... 75 is prob just the right speed... just fast enough to get your heart racing a bit!

you typically ride with other bikers or solo?

amacontent 06-05-2004 04:38 PM

Always cover as much skin as possible.

Dress for the crash, not the ride.

whenever you dress to ride, think to yourself "would this be appropriate for sliding along asphalt at 60mph"

Its like riding in a car with the feeling of a Bike, music clear as a bell even at high speed...vibration minimal as engine is rubber mounted.. windshield just high enough to reduce the wind

how much does it weight, and is it easy to handle in city traffic?

I got myself Yamaha FZ6-Naked, (european model, can't be bought in the USA, only the version with a fairing is being sold over there)

Harley Davidson finally figured out how to keep their bikes from falling apart by doing what the jap bikes have been doing for years with the engine mounts.

I've had two Harleys in the past, just sold my last one and got a Honda 1100 Shadow. The difference between how well the Honda was designed and how well built it was compared to the Harleys were night and day. Once a week I had to tighten down screws on the Harleys because they vibrated so damn much. From what I heard the new ones with the rubber mounts are a lot better now but I am still much more impressed with Hondas now, so much I even picked up a Honda CBR1100xx for the times I feel a need for speed.

Ride safe :thumbsup

The Honda VTX 1300 is a nice bike and priced right... I may pick one up for something to ride while building my custom bike
