Daily Tip #1: Make working files for banners, recips, and etc..

Hunting for banners, link url's, or remembering that great text link you used last week can waste ALOT of time, but there's a solution!

Create html files with this info in it! I have 3 files I use regularly, one has all my recips set up in tables for easy copy and pasting, one has all the banners I use and linking codes for the site they go to, and the last one is text links I use.

So, when building a site, a gallery, or whatever, I don't waste alot of time looking for banners, recips, or text links, because they all can be copy&pasted quickly from these files.

The name of the game when building galleries, free or avs sites, is speed and efficiency and this is just one way to speed that process up! Plus, it just saves alot of headaches in looking for some of these things!

Wizzo you don't look like a webmaster. You look more like that guy from Faith No More. I just can't picture you talking about cascading style shits and shit. Good tip though, I figured that out myself with all my sponser linking codes.

The key is organization & save everything. Organize your banners, recips, images, sites & sponsor info by using floppies or zip disks (unless you're lucky to have a cd burner). Be sure to label what they are. Make sure you save everything that you work on including sponsor info which you should also print out & keep in a folder or notebook.

I made my own homepage right on my computer that consists of two pages. One page is for non-adult links such as hotmail, my non-adult sites & other favorite non-adult haunts. The second page is for my adult links which includes my adult sites, sponsor stats links, bbs links (PC & GFY) & adult sites that I like.

Also, bookmark your favorite TGPs. I've been thinking of adding them to my adult link page but haven't got around to do it.

Also, use one of those small fat little notebooks. Write done all username & passwords. I'm almost finished with my first one which I will be organizing soon.

I keep some files in homesite files 1 is table templates another is recipt tables I put 3 in each and also 1 for url's for the sites you just made so the TGP's that wont let you post every day (eg HUN al4a ) you can can just duck in and grab it when your 4 days are up,always keep you Huns return mail so you now when you can send your next site.

You've all given very good advice. I keep meaning to make a homepage for my links but I never find the time. I do keep a "toolbox" with links to tools I use on my computer as well as on the net. I also keep a "notebook" on a floppy with templates I've made, snips of code, etc

Seriously, another good tip is use buttons or text links instead of huge banners. They will load faster & there's a better chance that the surfer will click on the first thing they see.

Find one thing a month that makes you some good cash, then figure out how to multiply it several times over.

If you need something automated let me know...I have access to a great programmer and know several others. I like to reserve most of my byhand work for spanking the monkey and counting cash...although "some" work is always best done byhand, if I can automate something I will.

This is an arms race...who can build the most, sling the most, get the most traffic, etc

You know, a long time ago I suffered from that very problem. So I quit my day job. I know where my priorities are!

Wizzo, we need to talk about your photography skills, or my lack of. If you take the pictures, I'll pay the girls. And we both can use the content. I know about 5 dancers (all between 18 and 23) that want to do pics.

Are you in the office every day? My girlfriend's mother lives in Roseville, so I'm in that part of town often. Maybe I could stop by. Let me know when it's a good time.

Hmm we also to set up to store all of our banners on one of our unused business domains. Keep a table page for them and just copy and paste from that. Trying to do the KISS thing and not have to chase after the darn things constantly.

We tried the titty bar thing but it appears that tits went out of style in the bars when I quit dancing. lmao All the girls are either flat chested or think they should get 500 an hour to pose for pics!

This is a great idea and I do it already. I have shitloads of textfiles in my banners directory that contain all kindsa good information or code. Then once a month or so I consolidate them into their own text files categorically, and read through posts I've saved for ideas.

It is great for saving important things people say, etc. I have posts from three years ago that I still look at, that have site layouts and brainstorming, from the greats at places like YNot and Condom.

lets you tag any html (or other files) you want...

and lets you replace in all of those files a BUNCH of text... (mass file replace, but with more than one line)

so what I do is I have my templates done for galleries...

say
Hun_mark.htm
WorldSex_zilla.htm
ThumbPost_lib_of_thumbs.htm

then I get that renamed with the date (add 01 or 02, or -2, or whatever)

and then I have this program mass replace some tags I have put in the templates...

say <body>
<title></title>
<gallery content>

and then I let those tags be replaced with whatever is in the newly created gallery..

saves TONS of time... takes me about 2-5 mins to have all 40 recips up, on 10-15 different html files http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif

I also have a html page with links to the tgp's webmaster submit page.... then it's just click-name-#pics-url-description-enter
back back, then on to #2.


try to find yourself an wasy to change scheme so it goes faster..

say name your files
sexyA01.htm, sexyB01.htm, SexyC01.htm
etc.. where 01 is the date...

then you can just copy/paste the same url FAST on every tgp, and then change that one letter/number that differs from the other tgps..


heck, I fear this is not TOO clear... but I don't feel like reading myself over..

I have 3 ways to do my galleries

1) Via perl scrip to which i send a big hash of html and the script creates all the pages with the apropriate link code for every place I want.

2) I have all the pages use SSI to determine wich body to answer

3) wizzo's way

The perl script is my latest way to do it
