anyone ever blacked out?

what does it feel like?

bringer 06-05-2004 11:26 AM

its like when you wake up and go back to bed for 5 min and wake up 4 hours later

AndrewKanuck 06-05-2004 11:29 AM

All the time when I'm drinking

stevecore 06-05-2004 11:36 AM

i've done it once when coughing too hard. i was eating rice and it got stuck in my throat, next thing i knew i woke up on the floor with everyone freaking out.

the other time i had just been eating "raw" for a week which totally detoxified my body. I went out drinking and smoked some herb one night and put my head through a wooden bar at a rave club.

each time you really dont know its happening, you get severe tunnel vision but after that the whole blacking out thing you wont rememeber (cuz youre blacked out)... waking up out of a blackout, don't expect to remember much you normally whack your head pretty good.

MiSsBeHeaDReSs 06-05-2004 11:38 AM

Yeah, but only after I was served a rufie-colada...what does it feel like? I don't remember, I blacked out. :ak47:

rickholio 06-05-2004 11:54 AM

Yeah, I blacked out...

... had a medallion the size of a hub cap, cornrows, pumped Ice T, bumped in the ride with my homies...

Straight up, yo. :winkwink:

Sarah_Jayne 06-05-2004 11:58 AM

i slept a good number of hours last night but I haven't been feeling great for a couple days (women's things). I sat down here at the desk and was chatting away to a friend on yahoo and watching a bit of tv and then all of a sudden the room shifted and I felt like I missed a couple seconds. After that I felt like I was in a massive haze. Even though I was still holding a conversation I felt very detached from my body and I kept feeling like I was missing seconds here and there.

Took me a good two hours and a very slight nap to shift that feeling but to be honest I am still feeling a bit hazy.

Ahhh... but have you had an ALIEN anal probe?

Who knows how a woman could react to that sort of abuse. :winkwink:

Just feels like you've been out for a few hours when sometimes it's only a few seconds or minutes. When you wake up you don't know where you are, pretty freaky stuff.

arial 06-05-2004 12:42 PM

If you ever go to one of those air shows where people are looking straight up at the sun all day you'll know what I'm talking about. People black out all the time at those.

okay, that is the nearest description I have read of how it felt.

Happened to me once. I hadn't eaten anything the day before and was feeling kinda sick...woke up in the morning and felt kinda dizzy so I went into the kitchen to fix something to eat. I was standing in front of the stove and started to feel kinda dizzy again, went to go sit down and my vision got sort of sparkly...next thing I knew I woke up on the floor.

Scared the crap out of me, I am now VERY careful about how long I go without eating... :(

That sucks, something like that happened to me. Been at the lake all weekend, I was sun burnt to the max. Woke up the next morning, went to take a piss behind a tree. Vision got blury next thing I know I'm on the floor with my dick hanging out.

Jeff aka NIGHTfall 06-05-2004 01:31 PM

its weird... i blacked out along time ago..

i was sucking in helium and making my voice all funny for my sister (baby at the time) and every time my voice got higher she would laugh so hard (she was like 1at the time so it was funny as fuck hearing her laugh) ..so i decided to take alot in at once and i fucking blacked out and hit the floor... woke up instantly though:1orglaugh

sinkiss 06-05-2004 01:39 PM

i done it one time after basketball practice in high school, it was really hot and we had been running alot. when i got thru running i went up to the top bleacher to sit, (stupid mistake) when the bell rang i got up too fast, next think i know, i woke up on the floor a few feet from the bottom of the bleachers against the wall. had a mild concussion but was other wise ok. heat, not eating or getting enough sleep can definitely cause it.

One time, at the dentist I blacked out. But I am pretty sure he knocked me out with something. When I woke up my pants were unbuttoned and when I got home I found that my underwear was on backward.

and you still paid?

TurboTrucker 06-05-2004 01:59 PM

I did a few times when I was young, you breathe in and out real fast, then hold your breath. Then somebody holds their hands on your neck stretching the skin tight, and you black out. It's really weird, when you wake up it feels like you've been asleep for a while but it's only been 30 seconds.

Ya, I guess it's kind of weird. I also found myself visiting the dentist all the time. Insurance would only pay for two trips a year so I covered all of the other visits with cash.

misty_dayz 06-05-2004 02:13 PM

well, if you are talking blacking-out as in fainting it goes like this.

You start to feel light headed...you begin to perspire (forehead starts to sweat)...you get tunnel vision and you know that you have to sit or lay down NOW...then you feel sick to your stomach, the room grows dark and then you are out for the count

This happens to me every time I go up to a girl to ask her out! Whenever I wake up, the girl is always gone. I have always interpreted this as her way of saying, "maybe" because they never actually say the word, "no" to me.

YoungExpat 06-05-2004 02:34 PM
