Any other fans of Bob Ross here?

Damn I could watch this guy paint for hours :Graucho

I can still hear him whispering "you can do it..anyone can do it!"
Photo realistic painting in 30minutes..he's the fast-food of painting, and he rocks! :thumbsup

Bob Ross kicks ass....or kicked ass.
What a nice soothing voice he had.

omg channel 9 flashbacks.. KCTS 9, that is. Bob and his happy trees. That was just amazing how he could whip those out in 20 minutes! I almost got into painting because of him, but then my parents saw how much the paints and canvases cost, and that was the end of that. :winkwink:

I always kinda liked the guy that came before Bob Ross... he sounded german or something, and was always talking about his Big Brush, his MIGHTY brush.

While working on designs I live by the motto "happy mistakes."

I make them all the time. :thumbsup

that would be William "Bill" Alexander, he also used that "wet on wet" painting technique. You are right, he had a dutch/german accent too. remember "you are the creator" :)
