We are glad to announce the new version 2.2. with the following new functionality:

- WMV Encoding.
1. Added two-pass Encoding.

- Decoding of MPEG-2
Includes
1. Decoding of MPEG-2, ISO/IEC 13818-2.
2. Sound support of MPEG-2 System:
Linear PCM
Mpeg Audio Layer 1/2
Dolby Digital (AC-3)
3. Enchanced navigation
4. Preliminary scanning of MPEG2/VOB files to check if more than one video section exists.
Used when VOB files don't have a corresponding IFO file.
5. Effective way of decoding and navigation through these files.
6. Effective audio synchronization for MPEG-2/VOB files containing more than one video section.
7. MPEG-2 player.

- DVD decoder.
1. Ability to work with DVD directly, ability to work with a several DVD drives simultaneously.
2. Ability to work with IFO file separately like working with DVD but containing only one IFO file.
3. Ability to work with a few IFO files simultaneously.
4. Ability to select decoding section based on IFO, MENU, TITLE, logical sections and separate VOBs.
5. Custom selection of audio stream.
6. Preliminary preview of selected section.
7. Brief information on format and structure of DVD/IFO file.
8. DVD player.

- Added new methods of picture scaling.
Added new methods optimized for MMX and VideoCharge features:
1. The nearest neighbour. The fastest and the simplest method based on selection of the nearest pixel.
2. Method of bilinear interpolation. A speed-average method using 4 pixels of input picture for making the pixel of output picture. Matrix reduction is used for making Thubmnails what allows to smooth away effect of artefact appearance while reducing the picture.
3. Method of bicubic interpolation. The high-quality method, but also the slowest one for image scaling. Uses 16 pixels for making one ouput pixel.
