Job Interviews
What would you say when the interviewer says, I have several people with the same qualifications, why would I want to hire you"?

Thank you for giving myself an opportunity to introduce myself. I am Mark To answer your questionI would reply by saying I can meet the needs of regular and prospective clients, and the valuable experience I gained in promotion, sales, and marketing has proven a valuable asset to my current employer. |
I go into soft skills. Something like "we may have the same skills on paper, but I think you'll find that my tendency to take initiative/exceptional leadership skills/attention to detail/etc is a cut above the rest".

try saying something to the effect of:
qualifications mean nothing if the individual does not have the drive or determination to exceed all expectations...and then take it one step further. i am that individual, I will not be one of the people who is here merely to collect a paycheck I would be here to prove to you that there is nothing you can throw at me that i won't tackle with every single thing i have and continually improve on my skills and qualifications to become a valuable assest to your company i had that very same question thrown at me during an interview when i first graduated...and said something like the above..i was up againt 10 others that had the same qualifications...3 of which were my friends...i got the job and my boss later said it was that answer that won him over |
