Yes there hosting is the worst I have ever had they were always down and when i got listed on the hun they shut off my website saying i was getting a DOS (denial of service) attack

There down time was horrible the last month i was with them one day they had 9 hours down time then the next day 4 hours

Keydet always lies to you about how long the servers are down also he said we have only been down 4 hours. somthing you really dont want to hear from a hosting company. and they had not been down for hours they had been down about 7 I knew cause i could look at my stats and see when the site traffic hit 0

Also there are rumors that he has run password sites givein away passwords for the pay sites that use them

I was stupid enough to stay with them for 3 months after i left them my profits went up 300% the very next month there hosting is slow and very unreliable

I had no problem with vibehosting. I didnt understand something in the directory stucture so I deleted it.

I tried to setup like this..

home/domain1
home/domain2
home/domain3
home/domain4

I didnt want it like

not home/domain1/domain2
not home/domain1/domain3
not home/domain1/domain4

I then sold my 4 domains, which I was very happy to sell btw.

Got a new domain, something i think that is better than the 4 I
had before.

I was searching all day about 3 days ago for hosting then
thought, I will give vibehosting one more try. (by the way I was still paid up to the 24th of this month before I went searching for a new host 3 days ago.)

I was told to put the directories back the way they were and we talked costs, this guy was helping me with telling me the directory stucture. so i thought cool, i can do something again with it. I then paid for hosting up to the 1st sept with
vibehosting.

I moved the name server, whois outside the server said it had been changed accross after 2 days. But did not see index.html load. Waisted more time reading up on this problem as I hate talking to support staff asking questions like i needed to ask. But In the end I asked. I posted a few posts on here, been in a shitty mood all day only becuase I dont know how to work out the problem myself. But hey I will get over it, more reading / learning.

I emailed vibehosting to close my account and I will find somewhere else. I advided that I am not chasing a refund.
Becuase I dont want to waite their time fixing some SERVER Error that I might have done.

Other than that. I am without a cc card. Sponsors sending check to home instead of paypal..so i need to wait.. thats the reason for also selling my domains before BTW.

I have cash in my savings, but thats no good with out a debit or credit account. So off to work on the monaro for a few days as seeing I can't offer my work to someone here at the moment.

Don't like drama, I just want to make it clear that vibehosting is a good webhost company, just not the right one for me.

your the only person I have seen that has said any thing remotely good about them. I know have seen about 10 ppl screwed by them ethier you were with them for like 1 month and it was a by some act of god they didnt go down or you don't pay attention to your down time with 3rd party programs

I had put up with the downtimes as it said 99.9 %, maybe it was over a much longer scale.

I did a search in my history in paypal to see who i have sent money too, vibehosting is owned by a company who owns another host.. xxx something i can look that up if needed.
But i had some downtime with that xxx something host in 2003 moved out and some reason, i dont know i keep trying so hard to give it another chance and to think they talk to you on irc and that.
But this time i really feel that they are not for me.

I read over the rules of the url above and i dont think i can use it the way i showed people today, i dont want to loose one of my sponsor who is my 80% rebils sponsor.
if you wish to see it i will show you after im hosted, or give you that gallery for free as for making you click a 404 and not comming back here to tell everyone. I have been out walking the dog.

hey, monaro, just so you know you can get a debit card through paypal and use it just like a credit card. You can also link your bank accounts to your paypal accound and transfer money like that. Just though it might help ya out ICQ me if ya need help
