What's the best dark beer? I want a beer that you can eat!
 

I like guiness, it's fairly good, but not quite thick enough

I want a dark beer that is very rich and thick.

I'm a beer n00b, so bear with me. When people describe a beer as being "thick" do they actually mean the consistancy of the liquid? Or are they referring to the taste?

A beer you can eat? :throwup What and weigh 300 pounds? Do you like stout?

Guinness isn't thick enough for you? You don't want beer, you want chocolate mousse.

samuel smiths is the upper crust of the beer drinkers heirarchy, you really have to have a taste for it though. the pic above is of their oatmeal stout, which would be somewhat comparable to guiness, but be prepared to fork over $$$$$$ for them.
