Fucking hate computers!
 

Last night my P4 CPU decided not to fucking work at all! So now all I have to use is a laptop with non of my fucking FTP programs or any of my scripts! Can't get another CPU til tomorrow and it's fucking pissing me off!

After the CPU went out last night, I took the thing, walked out side, and chucked it down the street! Then today trying to do a server move with out the main PC was fucking hard! Goddamn it, just had to get my rant out!

something like that happened to me, i threw the box down the back stairs.. it was out there for days, rained once and then i found out that i had kicked the plug out when i crashed on the lounge the night before..

I've been trying for two days to get a new computer game to work... bleargh. My current experiment is whether or not the video card is overheating, so my box is sitting open on my desk with two fans pointing straight at it... erm...

My system has 8 fans running in it, so I shouldn't have any problems with that!

I feel your pain. i hate computers as well. when i did more computer consulting, i would tell clients that and they wouldn't believe me. but the more you know, the more you hate them

This is so true. Everybody think's computers are great, except those that work on them all day!

g'day. well i was seriously drunk to crash on my lounge mate.

Perhaps you are going to learn from this ordeal. Time to master a few basic linux commands and quit using the windows box to do the heavy lifting. Besides, what do you need FTP for if you have a shell on the system you are manipulating? Anyway, I hope cronolog is doing you good.

A few days ago the CPU blew on one of our laptops and the AMD chip blew in one of PCs at the same time. 2 computers gone in the same day. Fortunately we have more than 2, still it was a hassle! :glugglug

it is really a big bad trip when your computer crashed, such a waste of time when you try to recover everything on that PC.

I hate when that happens.

I had my motherboard fry on me a couple months ago. THAT was a huge pain in the ass. It was under warranty, but of course the shop that I bought it from didnt believe me when I told them it was the motherboard. So, they took my computer for 2 weeks to "diagnose it". Once they figured out for themselves that it was the motherboard I was so fuckin tired of waiting to get it back that I made a deal with the salesman to just buy a brand new MB and when the replacement came in, they would just give me cash. Well what a fuckin headache that was. Got everything installed easily enough, but then the shop backed out of taking the old MB back. I wasnt very please. After a few visits and speaking with the owner I eventually got half the value back.
