Is it a good idea to have a backup of it on a disk if you use Windows?

yes. and linux is cheaper, too. works as well as windows, you just have to learn the ropes for a while. but its ok.

O really.. , I hear it's really good too because it does not crashes very easy like windows/etc does.. is that true?
