What are the pantyhose called with the line up the back? Is there a special name for those?

I want to get some for my wife but I don't know what to search for. Are they just pantyhose?

They go by all different names depending on the company that manufactures them. Some call them French Seam. I would suggest you just go into a stocking store or even Hudsons and ask the ladies in the department.....they will walk you right over to them.

Yeah, I would honestly suggest just going into a lingerie store and asking someone there, but I am pretty sure that they are a french seam stocking. Good luck though.

they're usually called back seamed or seamed... I find the best ones are the cuban heeled ones... they have the heel a darker color and then the seam runs from off the heel... very sexy! You'll find some good ones at Victoria's Secret or Frederick's of Hollywood with a sales lady to help you... or for a cheaper version, just go to Walmart or Target and pick a pair out yourself :)
