12-15 about normal for me a night. Gimme a few weeks and it'll be at 20 margin.

I'm usually in the 1st or 2nd category there..but I'm usually "enlightened" before I leave my house.

I usually drink 1-2 beers per waking hour...this is about what my system will burn off...without becoming intoxicated. Three beers per hour over an extended number of hours and I will become slightly intoxicated...so I usually keep it down to 1-2 beers per hour...unless I just feel like letting it all hang out...then I will throw in a few boiler makers...but I seldom let it all hang out.

I drink liquor...so I'd say 5-6 shots is a nice buzz.

I am not only a professional drinker, I am a veteran drinker. Nowadays I tend to imbibe in more moderation than I used to, and just sip until buzzed, then feed that buzz as needed. Rare is the CD Smith hangover morning, and even rarer is finding me stumbling around in a drunken stupor.


Right now I'm sipping vodka and a blend of fresh fruit juices, ice and water in a frozen mug, with a just a titch of pina coloda mix stirred in for added zoomph. Very summery, goes well with my Burmuda shorts and Jack Nicholson haircut. :D

Yeah this should be seperated for canadian and US beer. US beer doesnt get me drunk.
If Im drinking Corona, look for 15+. If Im drinking Rum and coke, I honestly havent hit my limit.
I normally order beer by the jug. One jug up here is equal to approx 6 bottles. I can usually handle 3 jugs and still be able to act completely sober. Anything more than that and its pretty obvious Im drunk. Once I reach that point I dont remember how much I drink. I just view the bank statement in the morning to see the damage.

If anyone in Calgary or the surrounding area wants to get loaded anytime soon, gimme a holler. :thumbsup

Very general question. Back in college when I was in my 20s I would easily pass the 12 pack a nite mark + mixed drinks all on my skinny ass 128 pound frame.

As I got older I quit drinking (went 6 years) just for the hell of it.

Now a few good beers is all I need. If I am in a party situation I can still hold 12 beers but I stretch it waaaaaay out now.

Is that bad?

No...even though I have a full head of hair...I cut my own hair into a very short butch...almost skinhead type. I used to wear a high an tight flattop...but it seems to be difficult to find a barber that can cut a good flattop...so I just zip it off myself. In addition...because of my back...I do not like sitting in a barber chair...over a few minutes...and I do not like talkative barbers.

If we hit the town after the pub then anywhere in the region of 15 - 20 drinks total in your night. Sometimes more than 20. Then a beef curry and a taxi home :)
