Good starting place to learn Perl
Hey! I would like to start learning how to program in Perl but I don't know where to start. I have a good reference book for it but I haven't seen a book or anything that says "Here's perl, here's how to use it, blah blah". It's all so foriegn. What books & sites do you recommend for a newbie? Thanks (-:

Thanks! It doesn't look as hard as I thought. I don't understand why some books make it look so difficult and others make it look so simple. *shrug*

Look for the Visual "Quickstart" Guide -- the fastest and easiest way to learn to do cool shit w/ Perl... (cookies, referrers, etc.)
