my dad arrived on the beaches 3 days later 6/7..

I just went through all his old stuff the other day..I actually have a pic of Patton giving my father a medal....I have other pics and letters dated 1944 and 1945

yeah, that was a big ass war... makes the Iraq war look like kids playing in the yard.

awesome, my grandfathers fought against Italy in 1940 and returned safe but both died before I was born. You should scan the pics and make a small online tribute page :)
