Yeah, no kidding... these guys have been on the job for alot longer than GW, it could be a good thing, or a very bad thing that all the head CIA execs just happen to be resigning.

Fletch XXX 06-04-2004 01:32 PM

well its not just exec resigning, look at their responsibilities.

"The DDO is responsible for the collection of foreign intelligence."

Intelligence like the bad data we got about WMD

taboo_dude 06-04-2004 01:37 PM

they were talking about this last night, someone had decided a month ago to resign but hadn't announced it yet.

Rumsfield, should go, GW will be gone after the election. I hope to God we do not have to put up with 4 more years of his BS.

On a brighter note, job employment is almost 1 million, the Fed is gonna raise at least 25 basis points soon on mtg rates and another 50 later in the year, all that and more in the economic sector spells trouble for Kerry:2 cents:

crockett 06-04-2004 01:42 PM

this shit kinda pisses me off, the CIA guys advised Bush not to do this war.. Bush went ahead and did it now these guys have to take the far for bad intel...

When is Rupfucker and John Asscraft going to resign? We all know Bush will never admit he was wrong.

<IMX> 06-04-2004 01:56 PM

read the latest edition of the New Yorker...

Bush is basically fucked...they went for an easy reason to attack Iraq WMD/terror...it turns out Chalabi basically created all the evidence we had, and he fed allies like Germany defectors to back up the information he was giving us intel sources.

So, there was basically one source for global info on the iraqi wmd threat...Chalabi.

Bush & Co. removed anyone who disagreed with the intel they received from INC/Chalabi sources.

WMD was chosen to "sell" the war, even though there were other valid reasons...but now we basically see we had one intell source that was manufacturing evidence and feeding it to everybody....

The CIA strongly disagreed with the validity of the sources, but shit rolls down hill.

Interesting...

Mr. Marks 06-04-2004 09:34 PM

ow well. to each his own i guess.

angelsofporn 06-04-2004 09:52 PM

i really hope the people on this board get out on vote on election day

KRL 06-04-2004 09:55 PM

One too many fuckups. You can only give people so much leeway and then its time to move on. These folks have been botching up and dropping the ball on intel ops for a long time. I'm surprised they were allowed to stay for as long as they did.

EviLGuY 06-04-2004 10:50 PM

love those personal reasons.

"Personally.. I can't stand that fucking idiot in the White House. Personally."

very well put. The damage has already been done, and I personally believe Bush would have done it no matter what. People were still very bitter over 9/11 and he knew he could get away with it at the time.

Hopefully since this new intelligence is emerging knowing what we know now, maybe just maybe he will not be around for another 4 years.

:drinkup

pimplink 06-04-2004 11:32 PM

Hay I'll just watch those CIA soap operas on TV...

On second thought...I don't watch TV...
