This strategy was hidden and I'm not sure even 10 people know about this. So you say you hate password traders right? We all do. This is a way to get them back and also make money while doing it. Here is what you do I'll break it down for you in steps.
General idea = You make a bogus paysite with a semi good design whatever you can do and include a members area. Make the members area password protected. Basically mocking a real paysite. Then go to IRC password channel and get your username and password on the list. It will then be added to all the password sites and you should be recieving lots of traffic to the members area. You need to time this right so you're getting the maximum amount of traffic and at that time you change the members page to a click through sponsor of your choice paying on raw blind clicks. Then all these people will click and make you $150 to $300 a day for about 3 to 4 days. Repeat this with buying another domain and starting all over again when the password traders start taking your site down.
Step 1. Buy a domain name that looks like a sex site and design it and add a little bit of content. Make the members section password protected. Then you have a real looking paysite.
Step 2. Add this paysite to EFNET DALNet and Undernet's password trading channel's list. Wait for it to get added.
Step 3. Check your traffic to the members section and wait until you see a minimum of 15,000 unique vistors a day entering. At this time change your members section which was full of some bogus content to a page that has your raw blind click through sponsor.
Step 4. Watch the money roll in and say "Jarrod thanks for that tip"

It did drop drastically but there is a lot of money to be made if you are a newbie looking to get paid. I still use this trick. And yeah I was doing it back in 96/97.

Good idea. But those password sites, do they add the passes automatically? Id say theres someone who checks your member area first right? He would see its a fake member area?

The idea is really simple just getting added on those sites seems hard.

Btw, the blind click sponsors, how do they like this traffic? They dont cancel your account or anything?

The blind sponsors love the traffic I never got my checks cancelled and I made 2k in a month or more just from this idea. Yes they check your members area and thats why you need to have a real looking members area at first until you start to recieve your maximum traffic where it wont go any higher than you can change it.

Well, you make it sound easier than it is. Whats a fake member area? I can put a template there but the links would need to work. And the guy whos checking it will also notice it right away if theres only 10 pics working.

The only thing I wont give away is which sponsor I'm using. Call me greedy but shit I have a right to be. If everyone uses the same sponsor for this in my opinion it would not be good so you should find your own. A fake members area is a real members are maybe 100 working pics and 10 to 15 working movies. Make sure its all in working order. then you switch the page out to your click through sponsor page.

No you change the page completely to another page with just an "enter here" link that goes to your sponsor. Also make it so that when they hover over it , it doesnt show your code so use some kind of hover trick.

I feel like a newb here but hell, since youre in helpfull mood im gonna ask it anyway. How exactly do you add a password in those channels? I know which channels you are talking about but do you just walk in and say "hey guys heres a new pass" ?

I bet all these sponsors pay for 2nd page only?

an addendum to jarrod's theory, if you have a good pword protection script you can set the threshold... set it high enough to let peek traffic in then have it explode on them.. this way you dont have to babysit it.

Im sorry to burst your bubble but with this you want a strictly blind click raw sponsor. NOT a second page unique sponsor. Raw click blind sponsors pay on the first click into the page and usually pay 1 1/2 to 2 cents per click.

To be honest it's not a classic blind click program, but it may work :)

You should ask someone in the irc how to get the password list. He will tell you to get the list you usually need to add a password. He will then tell you to add a password.

too much work for the chance of making 150 bucks for 3 days
i also dont believe it will generate that much traffic
but maybe some peeps here can earn a few bucks

Ok I will give you another hint on sponsors.. dialers work wonders on this. And its the only time I use dialers. I say fuck the surfer looking to get into our sites for free! Charge their phonebill something aweful they deserve it!

You might want to try HPIC. It's been quite a while since I used them, but they still seem to take warez/password traffic at 2 cents per unique.
