At What Age do Women Find Men 'None-Threatening'?
 

I'm 37 in a couple of days so if i Start talking to a 18 year girl on the street: will she think i'm trying to 'pick her up'?
Or do i need to be 50 or 60 so this doesn't enter into the girls mind. I like to think i would have a chance at any girl no matter the age. I f i was unattached of course.
Thoughts?

if you are ugly, you = Threatening.. if your some hot stud or if you look like brad pitt, you could be carrying a axe and they would just ask you what's that for.

I dont think they ever stop being threatening, only in different ways. I'm not sure if the changes are due to the men's needs changing as they age, or my perception of them as I age.

I forget what the exact stats are, but women have thoughts/concerns about securing their personal safety with the same frequency that men have thoughts about sex. What women find threatening is the constant possibility that they could be raped, murdered, stalked, etc. and the truth is, if a woman ISN'T at least a little worried about that when a stranger approaches her, she has her fucking head up her ass. About half of the rapes in the US never even lead to an ARREST, let alone locking the guy up. I don't think there's an age where men ever come across as nonthreatening - it's totally a matter of context. Frankly, if a guy approaches a girl 25 years younger than him, it would immediately worry me that he's got poor judgement and is totally out of touch with reality. Sad, but true.

Women will always think of you as threatening. Our first 2 second glance at anyone is to assess danger. If you have a demeaner that seems to put women off check if you make agressive moves. Determine if you stand too close or say agressive things to get their attention. If you are a non-threatening person they would feel that eminating from you in the first few minutes.

If your post was really to ask "if you would have a chance at any girl no matter what age you are" that is a different story. If you are an old geeser (over 40 if a gal is in her 20's) you have no chance. If you are clean and cute and over 40 and look like you might have money, you will find girls after your money who will adore you.

So the answer is, NO you dont have a chance at any girl. What ever "chance" means.

As for the question, I don't think it's an age thing. It's more of an attitude or "feeling" the guy gives off. Like Trixie said, it's a mixture of body language, mannerisms, type of humour, eye contact, and things like that.

For instance, if a woman is sitting on an otherwise empty bus stop bench, she will most likely sit on an end, not in the middle. A guy coming up SHOULD sit on the other end, but if he's pushy, he'll sit in the middle, next to her. That's just creepy and very threatening. So it's things like that.

men take on a threatening pose because its patterned in our genes. the more threatening, the better, to be able to protect the family and the offsprings.

I find men threatening in a different way lately. As I value my independence more & more, men in my dating pool are at an age where they're often looking to settle down. I find them needy and smothering, thus threatening the lifestyle that I enjoy very much.
Funny how as men age, they want commitment; while at the same time that women start to value their space and independence.

I think women almost always find men threatening...it's not always true that if you look like Brat Pitt they won't think you're threatening anymore. I mean, sometimes it works the other way around, like they would think you are threatening because you are hot..kinda make them feel that you are using your good looks to take advantage of them.

Now if you are ugly, they would think you are assuming and be threatened and annoyed.

Don't you just feel that with women, it's almost always a no-win situation?
