Do you feel like you have any true friends in this industry???
 

Just a thought on my mind tonight! Do you honestly feel like you have many true friends in this industry? I have a few...not many that are true friends. The few I do have are some of the best friends I've ever had! The rest just want to use you for what you can do for them. Does anyone else ever feel like this? Maybe it's just me.

This industry is like everywhere, some good friends but not hundreds of them

I can't say that I have true friends in this industry, but I do have some awesome contacts and good acquaintances. I'm hoping that those acquaintances turn into real friendships.

well, since to me a true friend is someone I would put my life on the line for, and they would do the same for me. . . . not really sure.

I can count on one hand the number of friends I have in this industry and a couple of them were friends before. ;)

I got a partner who I never meet in real life, I would say he is my friend.

I am very fortunate to have 2 true friends in this biz and lots of very good acquaintances! :thumbsup

Yes, 3 or 4. Most are good acquaintances or friendly faces, but I do count a few as very good friends.

There are a few people that I have met in this business that I consider real, true friends. Not only because of the fun that we have, or had, but also because I know what they would do for me and what I would do for them.

You recognize very well who is true to you and who isn't. And you know it when people use you for what he or she needs at that moment. That's why you're so very cool!

Only a small few I can call friends. The rest are acquaintances. Friends to me are ppl that actually give a shit about me after the conventions, example call once in awhile to shoot the shit or come visit.

i have only 1 friend i can 100% trust and talk freely with about projects, ideas, and not worry about him stealing it. kick ass friend, thus i've never been ripped off or scammed by anyone cause i trust very few people. adult webmaster as shady ....

depend, i guess, on your definition of friendship. me, i just like going here and doing this stuff. but friends are the ones i hang around with, fart, drink beer, mess around with. point is, i think looking for a friend in this industry would be hard because on the net, were intagible. that is unstable. and a friendship thrives in tangibility and stability in so many ways.

I would define a true friend in this biz as someone who you would trust with your FTP passwords and sponsor passwords to upload files and check your stats for you while you're on vacation :2 cents:

Steve Colby, Tim Turner and his partner Tim and Eva.

No one from the "Internet" never see enough of them, but got a lot of Internet buddies.
