This in itself leads the reader to belive you feel this cartoon to be a true Family Circle product.
Then we have your later quoted phrase, "I can imagine old ladies dying of heart attacks when this greets them in their morning paper."
This is easily read as meaning you can see the looks on old ladies faces when they see this cartoon in their paper when it is published. Just as if I say, "I can imagine you pounding your desk as you read this post and understand what a true dumb ass you are."
See my point? Hey man don't get all hostile because I think your little over done phrased cartoon joke is stupid. However, if that's what floats your boat though, go for it.

Therefore, you should assume that my title was intended to be taken as SARCASM.
Especially since the nature of this message board would lead one to believe that most Go Fuck yourself posters would find the comic very conservative and therefore find the parody amusing.
The second part of my comment was playing on a hypothetical situation where regular readers of the comic in question would be in for quite a shock when they read this perticular comic, as is it completely out of character for the comic strip.
So for you to imply that I have no knowledge that the image I posted is fake, leads me to believe that either
a) you have no common sense
b) you get off by starting flame wars on message boards
or
c) you have no understanding of humor, sarcasm or irony.
Therefore, I shall now call you a wanker.....wanker. |
