Bandwidth is so cheap and servers are so powerful theese days that hotlinking pics really for the most part is a waste of time.

Do a search for "The Hun", "Hotlink", "Image source", etc. You will find some kick ass threads :thumbsup

There is actually a couple of simple things to make the hotlinker reconsider... Requires htaccess, though.

And hotlinking images is uselless most part, if the target is on unlimited plan. You should hotlink php script pages....
