I bought me a new puppy yesterday(Pic)!
 

Yay! I'm so excited.. yesterday me and my girlfriend ewnt out looking for a new puppy. At first we had our heart set on a Mini Pinscher, but when we saw it he wasn't what I expected. Too big for his age, he wasn't a 'puppy' any more.

So we visisted a few more pet shops and finally got little Mini Dachshund. We paid $375 for it, its pure breed, papered, everything.

This pic isn't the actual dog, but the same breed. just so you get the idea :). It's a weaner dog. hehe. Anyone own one? What do you think about 'em?

Just watchout if you got bigger dogs. The little ones always try to start fights for some reason.

I have a puppy Lab and the weiner dogs were in the process of killing him until I stepped in and seperated them from the lab...

I have the bite marks to prove it too...needless to say the lab and the weiner dogs are segregated until the lab is around 100 lbs....then I'll let them work things out on their own....LOL

I own a Jack Russell Terrior too. He is full grown, and he towers over my little weaner dog. They were playing last night, the JRT kept running him over. hehe.

Very cute pup! I don't mean to piss on your parade, but if you bought it from a petstore, please get it to a vet immediately and get it completely and throughly checked out.

In addition, please get it neutered/spayed as soon as possible :thumbsup

Yeah, got it from a pet store. We're taking him to the vet tomorrow. Also, here are some pictures of the actual puppy. These were just taken by my camera phone, so the quality aint that good.

those are adorable dogs. i have always wanted one. my brothers ex girlfriend had one and he was such a lovable pet. :thumbsup

well, i dont know if you would call it an 'official pet shop'

We bought our first dog from her(JRT) about six months ago, and she was selling them out of her house... she just breeds the dogs herself and just sells the puppys. so all the puppys have the mothers and fathers on site.

I had one before, was a very sweet little thing.

BUT the only drawback was every time we came home it would be so happy it would just piss itself all over the place. Got old quick. :(

Gotta love Rhino, he's got a fake Ferrari, a fake dog, his website goes to a domain registration company, and I'd be willing to bet some funny money that his wallet carries the picture of the chickie that it came with, and he tells everyone its his 'girlfriend' :1orglaugh

Stay away from pure breds unless you want to become a breeder or something. Mixed breeds have less health problems and live longer.
