I asked the manager why they were banned from Google and this was his response, "The reason we're [traffic-power] banned from Google is because we're their #1 competitors" - I think I inuslted him by laughing so much! :1orglaugh

They have called me over 20 times since I've started my adwords campaign and each time I tell them to quit calling. The fuckers just called me again today and when I asked this manager why they were banned at first he said they weren't. And then he back-peddled and said that they "chose" not to SEO their site because they have over 500 sales reps that sell their site so they don't have to.

Next time they call you, get an attitude. I have had no less than 5 calls from them over the last 2 months and I am sick of it too. Go to donotcall.gov and register. It takes like 3 months, but you'll get off most of the lists and it becomes illegal to call you.

the do not call list is basically for phone bank systems..phone spam..someone who hires tons of phone sales people to search out info is not quite telemarketing. I am a salesperson and I will try to reach a qualified company any way I can. If someone tells me to fuck off.. They are off my radar.
If you do not want someone to call you do not alow access to your phone # like many who already have used alt. listings in whois. I personally will give anyone who calls me for business the cortesy of a few minutes atleast to explain themselves.

I use to also be a purchasing agent for a metals production company and some of my best purchases came from incoming calls out of left feild!
