new rule : no sigs till 4 months of posting
 

I know I am kind of new and all , and it is kind of arrogant to be suggesting new rules within your first week of posting , but this seemed a real good idea, if you would enable sigs till 4 months of posting , it would demotivate a lot of sig whores ... of course there will always be those who will go for the wait

Lens should ban all ARS Sig Whores that registered after Feb 2004.

I don't know why anyone would want to be an ARS sig whore. Nobody gives a shit about anything they say. I actually hate ARS more and more because of these stupid fucks. They usually reply in packs just like this thread. :BangBang: :BangBang:

I'd second that...wouldn't be a problem for me. Seeing some guys with 5 post already having an ARS Sig lately...

but then all the losers, non webmasters, stupid female sales reps, crappy designers, small time webmasters who have more income on sig then in the industry, would be SOL, O NO!

Just go to your profile options and turn sigs off. Much easier to read the board plus the added fun of knowing some people spent thousands of dollars on a sig you never see :1orglaugh

this is a good rule

when i joined i waited myself until i had like 700 posts to put anything in my sig. took about two or three months. just as a courtesy. it's sad that people are getting paid just to pimp some crappy sig around here.

because webmasters are born everyday and the idea of GFY is not just to bullshit with oldies, but to help newbies in the business and help make new contacts and business partners..

the 4 month rule could be good... or even 6 months... you should have to have a minimum post count too. that way people dont register, and then just show 4 months later

the 3 month rule is only for selling your sig in the market on GFY. That doesn't mean you couldn't do it a bunch of other ways... :2 cents:

You sig should just be available after a certain number of posts like the custom title. Something you have to earn.
