An actual good click through program?
 

Looking for a good click through banner or text program. Been through alot that change shit on me. Just want to find one that pays on flat click throughs. Raw or unique, I dont care, just on that pays without a sign up and that does not fuck with the stats (meaning they pay you by legit stats, not some fucked up ones that seem to always show only 20 hits).

Tried them in the past and they seem to fuck with the amount of clicks they say you send them. But I had a sexhound account then and they are really fucked up so it might have been the sexhound account so ill try again.. what do I have to lose?

I think the sexhound people are pretty cool (as far as I've worked w/ them) -- but I don't think their freehosting services were ever very good -- they were notorious for redirecting traffic to their banner farms at different times during the day -- I think some of the big TGP's rejected all sexhound sites (I know I did)

Anyway there's no point in accusing a click program of shaving clicks -- as a webmaster you have no way of tracking surfer behavior on another site. 99% of click programs only give you credit for "clickthroughs" to the second page of the site -- which is only fair. That's just the way it works.

Really it comes down to who puts the fattest check in your mailbox at the end of the month. Clickthroughs, conversion ratios, uniques, raws... all that info is arbitrary -- just worry about how much money a program makes you. I've tried many click programs over the years (and I've been fucked over pretty good by late checks, lost checks, no checks, and sneaky rules) -- AP's is the best I've tried so far.

I used to use a lot of blind programs but there are three reasons not to use blind programs (I know nobody cares but just some thoughts for the newbies).

1. Blind links hurt the reputation of your site -- if a surfer gets tricked -- he will remember and he won't come back. You may even get an email like I do sometimes "Your site fucking sucks!" If I send traffic to AP's click program I'm not tricking anyone -- there's even free pics! That makes me look good.

2. Blind link programs generally use more popups, javascript tactics, and just about any evil thing they can make money doing ;)
It pays to care about the surfer -- because if a surfer gets trapped in javascript hell, then he can't get back to your site to click on more shit.

3. Non-blind programs just make more money than blind programs because they are targeted. Why send traffic to a blind program, when you can send traffic to the programs that the blind program is using to make money -- cut out the middle man. It's a little more work, but it's worth it.
