The whole UK air traffic control system has crashed.... all British airspace is being cleared

Its just been on a news alert here on TV.... but it hasnt hit the net yet

damn I hope it dosen't cause any crashes.. I couldn't imagine them not having some sort of basic back up system.

The way they presented here u would think planes were falling out of the sky.....

And I dont fly in 'til Saturday, so I should be OK

That can't be good.

How the hell did the entire system crash for the entire UK in one go ? You'd hink it would be organised a bit beter than that.
