It's real. Everyone here in the U.S. marries our cousins, cheats with our tranny father-in-laws, have gay trysts with our wife's brothers, and we're all named Bubba.

Oh, and we also settle all of our disputes in pools filled with chocolate pudding.

Fake! A friend of mine was actually on the show for the fun of it. They made her look like a piece of trailor trash and gave her some lines to memorize/follow (she was cheating on her boyfriend with her cousin). She got to smoke a cigar with Springer :Graucho

Ya, it started out having mildly fucked up people on, but when they saw the ratings they decided to go crazy with it. They've had pro wrestlers on playing characters.

but some of the people on the show seem really upset. its as if they cant be lying... they simply arent good enough actors

Jewy Springer is just paying everyone to get the results he wants.

His "guests", who never enjoyed a holiday in their life, get free hotel and tickets, he pays actors to teach this "guests" their lines.

That's why all of these "guests" use the same lines.

I used to think that perhaps it was half real - and that the peopel involved had been told to spice it up when on air.

but then I saw the episode where they guy was in love with a cow and they bought out this cow dressed in old fashioned dress and a hat with a daisy on it and long nickerbocker underwear- and I said "YEP this is 190% FAKE"

even Jerry couldnt ask the questions it was sooo stupid - he had to ask an audience member to do the interviewing while he sat back and laughed at how dumb it was
