No predictions needed anymore. Before the season ever started, it was assumed that Lakers will take the crown with the entry of Malone and Payton in the line-up, making them the most invinsible team to beat.

Though other teams are doubtful that LA would take the crown, Spurs were then determined to retain their championship belt. This goes also with power house teams such as Kings, Nets, Mavs and others who themselves are in a battle to get the crown.

Against all this odds, Lakers proved them all wrong by taking the Western Title a couple of days ago. History has already made itself as early as now. Why?

I don't think Detriot can ever match the likes of Shaq, Malone, Kobe, Payton. This all boils down to championship experience which the Piston's surely lacks.. and don't forget Malone and Payton are on a mission of their ending career.

Thus, LAKERS in 6!

You're right Lakers in 6 in my mind also..

I think 5 games is all it will take to beat the Pistons!

I'm thinking five as well. I've got to see the odds first though.

It will be fun to watch the wallaces and the d against shaq, but the pistons still can't score.

I would be really shocked if it wasnt a sweep.

It all depends on how the officials want it to go, some officials put a lot of money on gambling and might take it to six games.

But we all know that the lakers could sweep them anytime.

I love the fact that all the Laker haters are going to have to live with the Lakers winning the Championship again. The facts are, the only chance a team from the Eastern Conference has of winning a championship, is if they march their sorry butts down to the WNBA. They might be able to compete there.

once again...another boring nba finals, why, because of course lakers are gonna get hooked up by refs, and sweep....I say lakers in 4...... How is any team expected to win when the NBA's own commissioner David Stern, publicly says Lakers are his favorite team, and knows each and every ref personally? hmmmmm...

hands down to the great FISHER, his shot made a difference this entire play-off match.. again, another mark of history for the miracle shot
