nicholas berg - bush cover up or al qaeda operative?
 

The family blames BUSH, says he was trying to get out, but the US held him there and after he was released, he was kidnapped.
The family has an email from someone from the US gov't saying he was being held.

Then rumors surface of possible Al Qaeda operative, since Mousaoui (the guy who got arrested for trying to light a bomb in his shoe on a plane) apparently had used his email account when he attended the University of Oklahoma.

US Gov't says Iraqi police held him, NOT US, and when he was released, that was when he was kidnapped.

Is this a Bush cover-up and they made up the story about the email to make him look like a bad guy,

or

is it a random incident with rumors floating

or

was he really an Al-Qaeda operative.

either way, there is no clear-cut story, lots of surround details/rumors, makes me believe its a cover up. i mean, look at daniel pearl - no one argued with that story, no weird surrounding details. then you ask yourself why would his family lie about it, and if it is true, the bush administration would have every reason to try and put a lid on it and make him look like a bad guy.
