$150 Logo Design Contest - Bring It On!
 

Okay, here's the rules:
1. You've got until 6:30pm Thursday, June 3rd (EST) to post. Entries after that will not be accepted. Winner will be chosen that night by midnight.
2. Payment is to be via PayPal, $150.
3. Logo should say "Dangerous Curves" (no quotes) and *should* have either the silouhette of a woman or the photo "curves" of a woman - use your imagination, the client kinda knows what he'd like it to look like but trusts that true designers would know better.
4. Background should be BLACK. Text is preferred to be in white or silver but if you can make it look good otherwise, give it a go.
5. Be sure to leave your contact info with EVERY post. If you end up posting 3 times, put your contact info in ALL 3 posts.


Winner will get future work also with print design, business card, flyers etc so you should have experience doing those as well. Don't want to have to go to 3 different people.
This is going to be for a *business*, not just a website. Put on your corporate logo hat.

The client is not me, it's a close friend who isn't as versed in the adult industry. I'm the go-between. He'll be watching the thread as well and might hop in to comment; his GFY nick is Cadaver.

I looked at some logo design threads and have been to your portfolio page already (before posting the contest) and didn't see any corporate logos there.

I will come up with something later on. I also own a mainstream web/print design firm so the afterthought should be no problem. What kind of feel was the client going for? Sexy I would imagine but do you have any other input from the client you can give us for this? Thanks in advance...

How much do you charge regularly?
For banner/template?

It always depends ... I got 14 graphists right now .

If you want something high end I can get them to spend hours on it ... I'm having a guy that want some high class flyers for 500 $ a peice and 2 full page ads on magasine for same price ...

If you want cheaper I can go at 150 for a good flyer ... Most flyers in my portfolio were about 200-225 $ .

I can work with pretty much anything :)

Nick, Erotic + classy... Something someone would look at and go "DAmn" thats nice.. More just a provacative outline than any actual "content" so to speak..... Just the outer line of a womans body laying on her side... "Dangerous Curves" The name itself more or less denotes the "feel" if you would. Satisfactory answer?

Keep in mind also that this is a preliminary project. As mentioned earlier the winner or whomever is selected will more than likely get repeat work along the same lines.

Also as Jelly stated... PLEASE watermark the version you upload. I don't want someone swiping your work and laying claim to it.

Another thing that so far is no issue. LARGER is better because it is far easier to shrink than enlarge a picture without it pixilating.
