Wireless Web Cams...

I tried out the Linksys wireless webcam: http://www.linksys.com/products/prod...id=38&prid=566

And it was a piece of crap. Has anyone else used a wireless camera and which one do you recommend?

I have one that I actually got from the home secuirty section of Fry's...It is in my shower. I LOVE it! Because it is made for outdoor security, moisture is not an issue!

D00d tell us more! More info about the quality, I mean, is it strictly only good for security monitoring? Or can you, let's say, use it to record some sick-twisted-perverted-ass-shiaat ?

kaylacam 06-01-2004 04:48 PM

Camera

Uses RCA...you can record from your vidcap device

The Linksys loses it's connection to the router after a few seconds. We could only get it to work with a cable.

I might go for the DLink 1000, if I can find anyone who sells it.

Odd...I have never had a problem with mine...I am ACTUALLY thinking about replacing my living room cam with my extra x10

lazycash 06-01-2004 06:17 PM

Logitech makes one and was thinking about getting it, just wary after reading here that it might have some of the same problems.
