I already saw that page thanks to google but it shows you where to find routing codes in other countries but it doesnt say a word about their own routing code.

Something original :eatmouse

bluff 06-01-2004 01:49 PM

try swift, otherwise call them

hova 06-01-2004 01:50 PM

Just call them, the swift code is enough for them but they can give you a routing number.

They did for me

Routing number in the US is a 9 digit number.
Usually comes first on a check before the account number.

You can usually call and get it from the bank on the phone.

Europeans don't use checks.

In the US it's the first nine digits that appear across the bottom of a check that identify the bank.

Apparently this is not an international standard. :)

Europeans can have US bank accounts, and US companies can have foreign bank accounts. Plus tons of sponsors send checks to European webmasters.

Nylz 06-01-2004 02:15 PM

You don't need it ;)
I had the same problem with a sponsor, they needed a routing number, but the chick at Rabobank told me the Swift + IBAN code was enough, so I arranged something with the sponsor ;)

Dirty F 06-01-2004 02:21 PM

Thanks everybody...i needed to sort a lot out with ccbill so i sent them a huge ass email and also told them about this issue so i'll wait what they will come up with. If all fails i will call the bank tomorrow.

Thanks a lot.

thats true, but normally in holland nobody pays with checks, or gets paid by check, usually only if we get a check send from US:)we do everything with transfers.
