Do you have XM Radio?

I am appearing as a guest on a radio show that is only broadcast on XM ... has XM caught on enough? Is it a large or small audience, in general?

:question

shima 06-01-2004 10:17 AM

What is XM Radio?

StRoGE 06-01-2004 10:18 AM

I dont have it, but I know a few people that do. I think the hype was alot bigger than XM has actually become. But it should grow quite a bit in the next few years.

Shooter 06-01-2004 10:20 AM

I have it, a few friends do, and my parents do.

I believe they're coming up on a couple of million subscribers now.

XM rocks BTW :thumbsup

jm_247live 06-01-2004 10:20 AM

I think it is still in it's infant stage but it now is available to people who purchase new cars and can be included in the financing so it will most likely become more popular

kaylacam 06-01-2004 10:21 AM

hmmm...I wonder if this appearance will do any good or not then....

:Oh crap

What channel/show are you going to be on?

Keev 06-01-2004 10:23 AM

gonna be awile before its mainstream

till then normal radio will be king

Axeman 06-01-2004 10:24 AM

i am thinking about getting it for the sports stations. Most sports stations are on AM so its hard to keep the signal long enough.

MandyBlake 06-01-2004 10:24 AM

I don't have it.
I don't know anyone who does...but then again, I don't know many people. lol

shima 06-01-2004 10:25 AM

What is XM Radio? Is that like a Satelite radio or something?

Dirty D 06-01-2004 10:26 AM

I did a Playboy Radio "Night Calls" show...

It was fun but I can't say that it generated any traffic.

Not enough XM radios out there.
Plus Playboy Radio is a subscription...

They have a really good sports selection.

ESPN Radio
ESPN News
Fox Sports Radio
The Sporting News Radio

And I think they may have another. The ESPN stations replay some of their TV shows like PTI and Around the Horn which is cool.

Well, like dustman said you probably won't get much from that since the adult channels cost extra. Can't hurt though.
