Check out our store and script. If you like it, we would be ready to sell you the application to run it at a very reasonable price. It has a userfriendly interface and a webbased admin panel. You can adapt the design very easily, lots of other things are flexible as well.

3K forget it, you will get a better deal from us. We will even install it for you.

I myself use komplete you can find free open source or GPL content management scripts all over the place. And a few very good priced ones which will meet your needs. Below are a few links. Hope this is what you met by "content management scripts" lol

a-ConMan used to cost $3,000 , but after the company that
sold it lost their programmer they made it open source and
it's available free of charge. It has all of the features
you'd expect in a $3,000 script. The only thing missing is
the flashy website with the spiffy sales, which went offline with
the compnay that sold it.
You can see a few screenshots of a-conman on the
new site I'm working on for it:
http://www.bettercgi.com/a-conman/screenshots/

At the time they released it,
a-ConMan required you to use PostgreSQL, whhich meant
that you had to compile PHP to support pgsql and compile
that into Apache. That was a pain, and it was
poorly documented,
so it didn't become super popular immediately.
However, I've just adapted it to work with MySQL, Oracle, MS-SQL, or SQLite.
I've also compiled some documentation.

I haven't put the new MySQL capable release up
on the site just yet, but it'll be there in a few days.
The nstallation IS a pain in the ass at the moment,
which is why I do install and support for $200.

By the way, if you for some reason get tired of the script
that you are using or your content store I also have a great
set of scripts written just for that purpose.
