This weekend was one hell of an eye opener.
 

Came to a few realizations this weekend. Very productive for my bottom line. Was a good weekend. One thing that was emphasized this weekend was to only give a fuck about ones self.

Fuck everyone else.

It's not completely true..yea there is so many self centered greedy ,self absorbed assholes that will use you for everything they can get out of you,but their is alot of good people out there too...it comes with the territory,you just weed them out quickly

As much as I hate to say this...in 99.9% of all cases people will screw you if it is to their benefit. Not getting too close keeps you safe. What a hell of a way to look at the world though! Do I keep more to myself? You betcha I do...been betrayed too many times to trust too often. It takes a lot to gain my trust, and once you lose it, that is it, no second chances.

At this point in my life I have to agree with you that most people will fuck you to some degree if given the opportunity.

I'm trying to figure out boundaries of how 'close' to allow people to me, and certain people should only be allowed so close, others closer, some nowhere near; distance can change as time goes on of course.. you can never expect the end result though.. wish it was predictable but it's not.

Agreed. Finding those people is the hard part though, because everyone is trying to protect themselves from the assholes, so it's hard to even meet the selfless people.
