Sapphire Radeon 9600XT Ultimate Edition ~$170 Sapphire Radeon 9800XT Ultimate Edition ~$445 I like these because they are passively cooled - no noisey fan. and both come w/ a free coupon for HalfLife2 whenever it's released :thumbsup |

The Invidea card is a 3D based card andI also stuck in a PCI based video card. I think the Invidia card was doing video based computations when rendering video segments. I am gonna look into what happened, I just know the chain of events, and I put in the PCI video card just a few days ago. The Invidea held out great for almost a year. So basically I probably fried it with some misconfigurations. |
