Video Editors, I have a rendering question...
After you are done editing a video, do you first render into a .avi file? And if so, what is the mpeg version you render the .avi into (mpeg1 or mpeg2)?
Thanks, Bill |
I may have answered my own question. A 1.08gb video captured from a MiniDV tape yeilded a 12+gb .avi. I'm thinking rendering straight to mpeg2 is the more viable alternative.

And now another question for all those paying close attention...lol
I rendered a 1.08gig file in less than 20 minutes. Now I am rendering an 84 meg file and it estimates 4 hours and 20 minutes... WTF??? :helpme |
It's just Me, Myself, and I! :helpme

If its for members do not use MPEG2 as no one will be able to play it.
MPG1 is for common internet use. |
