Cuban Cigars for Order (Americans can even order!)

I am planning a trip to Cuba in December, yes I said December, to purchase a wide variety of authentic Cuban Cigars. The reason why I have posted now, since I'll get them in December, is to get a large enough list of people so that I will not be left with too many excess cigars in case people backout of purchasing.

I can get any type of cuban cigar you wish. Email me at cigars [at] cumpoo [dot] com with the brand of cigar (ie Cohiba), the sub-brand of that cigar (ie Esplendidos), the amount of cigars/cigar cases you wish to order, and your contact information.

Once I obtain the cigars in December I will notify the first persons who contacted me for the specific cigar with a VERY reasonable price (depending on the amount of cigars and demand for the cigars), and proceed down the list until the cigars are gone....though I'll leave a few for myself :)

I am located in Canada and can ship them out. If you are in America (or another country) and prefer to fly in to Canada to pick your cigars up that can be done.

Here are some cohiba esplendidos pics, the one's I prefer the most:

I think there is some kind of restriction on how many you can bring back with you, even to canada...

Aquarius 05-30-2004 10:59 PM

I don't think you can bring that many.

Cuban quality isn't nearly what it used to be, and they are the most commonly counterfeited cigar. Caveat Emptor.

The restriction is actually two cases, and I can bring back much more than two cases.

They are filled with animal dung if you buy them from people on the streets, but I go to direct to the factories to get them.

I currently have 10 orders, I can take around 5 more orders. Email me at cigars [at] cumpoo [dot] com to get your order(s) in.

From the Canadian government's web site at:

http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/E/pub/cp/...tml#P307_23244

"If you meet the age requirements set by the province or territory where you enter Canada, you can include up to:

- 200 cigarettes;

- 50 cigars or cigarillos;

- 200 tobacco sticks; and

- 200 grams of manufactured tobacco.

However, as of October 1, 2001, if you include cigarettes, tobacco sticks, or loose tobacco in your personal exemption allowance, only a partial exemption will apply. You will have to pay a minimum duty on these products unless they are marked "CANADA-DUTY PAID · DROIT ACQUITTÉ". You will find Canadian-made products sold at a duty-free shop marked this way. You can speed up your clearance by having your tobacco products available for inspection when you arrive.

If you bring in more than your exemption allowance, you will have to pay regular assessments on the excess amount. These regular assessments can include duties, taxes, and provincial or territorial fees. The customs officers will give an allowance for products that are marked when they calculate the amounts owing."

So our friend Cohiba can flood the country with quality expensive cigars and cheap Cuban rum all he wants. Just that it's going to cost him.

I might be interested.

Thank god for very loose restrictions :) If you have any questions or would like to inform me of the cigars you wish to purchase in December just email mat at cigars [at] cumpoo [dot] com . You DON'T order now, you order when I get the cigars, which is in December.
