What city is nicer and/or better to visit in July, Rome or Milan?

Rome is by far the best. The food will kill you thou.
You'll eat like a cow. They are true masters in a kitchen.

I have not been to Milan, but I spent a week in Rome and it was incredible, especially the food! :thumbsup

no, but actually wish that I could be there, my friend told me that it is one of a great place in the world :) :)

Go everywhere in Italy.. each city is unique and has its great featues. :)

Venice smells

Good or bad?

I love iTaly.. every bit of it so hope you have time to travel a bit. :thumbsup

Both are packed. I'd say divide your time and visit both then decide for yourself. You won't be dissapointed.

I've been to Venice and Rome, it was a good trip, but i preffer Bangkok than anywhere.

I haven't been to Milan but Rome was pretty cool. I think I went in August and it was really hot!

This is true. Sicily is great too.

Out of the two.. Rome. Maybe it's just me but I found Milan to be nothing special at all.

But if you're going to Italy I suggest you see Firenze, great town.

And while you're at it visit Perugia, that's just a couple hours by train. :thumbsup

ive been to milano and it wasnt anything great. i thought the little villages or whatever you want to call them that i saw on the way there were cooler. also remember not to drink the water.
