Paysites alot like recording industry
 

Does anyone else think that alot of paysites and affiliate programs are an awful lot like the recording industry.
A few programs seem like some of the major labels. Then alot of sites or even programs only seem to reach the one hit wonder level. They are popular for a few months to a year then quickly disposed of into the bargin basement bin.
Of course other comparisons could be made as well, from how some artists are shaved out of their profits to the underhanded or backroom deals that take place on a regular basis.

and how they complain when trolls steal their content or mp3s.

The same could probably be said about many/most industries. You're just recognizing this similarity because it directly effects you.
