Movie posts have always done well...I wouldn't limit it to only asians though....I might "feature" asians...but just put the others down below...filtering is a wonderful thing to do with traffic...

also i was wondering if i should set a limit like "no movies under 1 meg" or something

a fellow french webmaster pulled out the point that myself i have adsl connection but with such a rule i would avoid my self the dialup connection surfers who often cannot wait to dl big movies....

anyone has input on the matter?

I think setting limit for the movie size wouldn't be such a good idea. Sure the movies should be a little bi quality but that could be about 300k and surfers also can't wait so long ( because of dialup connections ). And if you give away 1mb+ long quality movies for free why would somebody signup for your sponsor ??

i think 1 or 2 megs movies are just what is needed to pull to a paysite....not long enough but enough quality....

when i see most 300k movies they are like 5 second long and really poor quality...not good to advertise sponsors with that....it makes think surfers that the sponsor is shitty....
ever wondered why sweetloads sells so well?
just download a asf movie from one of his galleries...they last 1 minute and stop just before the action....

actually the size concern is more because of the dialup/download time the the sponsers...if they had good samples they would sell....for instance Realbutts (which i advertise) propose movies...but there is no use for them...they are so short that the surfers get annoyed by them..
